Before launching Knotty Bird, we scoured the globe to bring you the most ethical and sustainably sourced fibers. Today’s Conscious Maker will appreciate that our exquisite macramé ropes are made from recycled cottons, all remnants of the textiles industry and otherwise destined to become landfill waste.  Additionally, our speciality fibers, and merino wool roving and yarns have all been sourced from suppliers who hold the same values as us, that every life should be valued and that well-treated, well-loved animals produce the best wool.  We avoid plastics and plastic wrapping wherever possible, and ship in recycled packaging.
